A Journey of Faith, Surrender, and Transformation

What if becoming who you truly are starts with unlearning everything you thought you had to be? What if stepping into your divine calling requires surrender, not striving? For a long time, I wrestled with these questions, caught between the world's expectations and the undeniable pull of God's purpose for my life. But now, in this new season, I know one thing for certain—I am being transformed, and this journey is not just for me.

Welcome to Tea & Truth by The Bare Essence—a space where faith meets real life, where wisdom flows like a fresh cup of tea, and where we steep in God's truth together. This is more than a blog; it's an invitation to build community, spread the gospel in my own way, and bring more people into the Kingdom of God. It's my heart poured out, my journey of becoming, and my testimony unfolding in real time.

For as long as I can remember, I have known that God has placed something special inside of me—a deep desire to do His work here on earth. But walking in that calling hasn't always been easy. Like many, I have faced moments of doubt, seasons of waiting, and crossroads where I had to choose between comfort and obedience. Yet through it all, God has remained constant, shaping me, refining me, and revealing new dimensions of His power, glory, favor, and wisdom.

This is why Tea & Truth exists—to show that God is alive and active in our everyday lives. Too often, we limit Him to the pages of the Bible or the walls of a church, but the truth is, He is moving right here, right now. Through the highs and lows of my journey—as a woman, a mother, an entrepreneur, and a vessel for His Kingdom—I have seen firsthand how He leads, provides, and transforms. My life is a continuous living testimony, and I am committed to sharing it so that others may come to know Him more intimately.

Just as tea steeps patiently to release its full flavor, so too does faith—slowly unfolding to reveal God's wisdom, power, and purpose in our lives.

In this space, we will tap into God's wisdom, discuss the real challenges of walking in faith, and explore the beauty of trusting Him fully. Whether it's navigating purpose, embracing favor, or stepping boldly into new seasons, every post will be an opportunity to grow together. And just like a good cup of tea, the process of steeping in God's truth requires patience—but the result is something rich, deep, and life-giving.

 So here we are—the beginning of something new. Tea & Truth by The Bare Essence is not just about me; it's about us. A community of women (and men!) who are learning to trust God more deeply, walk in His purpose, and experience His fullness in every area of life.
